Slot luidt mogelijk Liverpool-exit Van den Berg in: 'Ja, die is vertrokken'
Liverpool is zondagavond zonder Sepp van den Berg begonnen aan de oefenwedstrijd tegen Las Palmas. Het leidt tot onrust onder de supporters van Liverpool, die verwachten dat de 22-jarige verdediger op het punt staan om te vertrekken.
Liverpool-manager Arne Slot heeft op Anfield - enkele uren na de 4-1 zege op Sevilla - een basisplaats gegeven aan centrumverdedigers Ibrahima Konaté en Nathaniel Philips. Van den Berg zit daardoor op de bank tegen Las Palmas. Eerder op de zondag behoorde hij niet tot de wedstrijdselectie. Volgens veel Liverpool-fans is dat een teken aan de wand: Van den Berg, die wordt begeerd door onder meer PSV en Feyenoord, zou op weg zijn naar de uitgang.
