Bij Ajax wordt er intern nog altijd over een mogelijke terugkeer van Alex Kroes als algemeen directeur gesproken. Mocht Kroes terugkeren, dan staat Graham Potter klaar om direct aan de slag te gaan als hoofdtrainer in Amsterdam.
